A security device ( Check Point Safe@Office) is installed at the Internet access device ( ADSL/ISDN modem/router ) and the local network. The security device is connected directly to the modem/router and allows the direct connection of the PCs to the same device, using its 4 ethernet ports. In the case where the number of PC to connect are greater than 4, it will be possible to connect hub or switch in cascade in order to guarantee the maximum scalability.

Just after the installation, the Safe@Office device is in a position to establish an encrypted connection to the Management Center for being able to enable the services for which it has been underwrite the subscription.

All the traffic passing through the security device, both incoming and outgoing, it will be accurately controlled.
Every attempt of violation, included every possible virus found, will be reported to the Management Center, that will analyze the log and will decide which type of action will be undertaken (block of the access, report to the company managers, report to the competent authorities, etc).
